What Major Is Better Overall, Accounting Or Business Adminstration?

What is the better major: Accounting, Business Administration or Business Management, Business Economics? By best overall, I mean the work and more importantly the salary! Also, is a master’s degree salary a big difference in any of these majors? Average salary? All tips are greatly appreciated.

  1. Accounting by far. After your Bachelors, you can take a review course and try and pass the CPA Exam. It’s a difficult major, but it will make you much more marketable than any of the others listed. The money is better too.
    Accounting is interesting, but there is a lot to learn. It is hard work and you have to seriously study if you’re going to major in it. Take an entry level Accounting course and see if it interests you. If not, I don’t suggest majoring in it just for the money.

  2. Accounting gives the most flexibility by far.
    If you decide to work in public accounting long enough and get your CPA you will have an excellent credential.
